Hard Enamel: Hard enamel means that the colored filling is polished completely flat and level with the metal frame, making it super smooth to the touch. Each color in the design is baked at high temperatures individually and polished flat flat against the metal outline.
Soft Enamel: Soft enamel pins have a slightly bumpy texture to the touch because the colored filling sits lower than the raised metal edges.
Epoxy Coating Option: Epoxy can be added over soft enamel to enhance durability and luster while smoothing out the bumpy texture. Please note that adding an epoxy dome effect may slightly reduce extremely fine line details.
